Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, Rapid Support Forces Commander, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has addressed the affected population in the Kaja Valley Stream.
He directed the state government to urgently construct a stone and cement barrier to protect the area this autumn.
While addressing protesters in the affected area this evening, Dagalo donated 10 million Sudanese pounds to start building the barrier and promised that the project will be concluded successfully.
During his visit, the vice president was accompanied by his fellow council members, the governor of West Darfur State, and the general chief of Dar Massaleet.
