Rapid Support Forces Central Darfur commander meets Al-Fur native administrations

Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Central Darfur Sector Commander, Brigadier Ali Yagoub Gibril has met with Al-Fur Tribe native administrations, local community figures and leaders of local IDP camps.
In a press statement, Gibril thanked attendees for their efforts over the past years to support the RSF’s work to promote peace and stability and secure the agricultural season.
The delegation included 200 chiefs from the Al-Fur Tribe, chaired by Dabigawi Sisi Fadol Sisi.
Gibril stressed that – as part of the Central Darfur Security Committee – the RSF plays an integral role in maintaining peace and stability in the region. He noted that the RSF has sent military enforcements to a number of areas to secure roads and protect trade movement.
