Acting South Darfur Governor Bashier Morsal has praised the role of the Rapid Support Forces in supporting the historical reconciliation of the Rizaigat and Falata tribes. He pointed out that the initiative has led to resounding results for peace and stability throughout the entire region.
He made the statement while addressing the local population during the opening of the reconciliation conference between the two tribes.
Morsal said the Falata and Rizaigat tribes are “brothers,” and stressed the state’s support for achieving reconciliation.
In turn, RSF Darfur Sector Commander, General Essam Al-Din Salih Fadil warned against the spread of sedition and the use of hate speech to elevate conflicts.
