The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Desert Shield Division has seized a vehicle carrying arms belonging to human trafficking gangs in the Musalath Triangle – Al-Maleh.
The vehicle was seized during routine border patrols.
RSF Safar-Let Military Base Commander, Colonel Osman Ali Abd El-Magid said the RSF seized the vehicle after a car chase involving armed gangs driving four Toyota Tundras.
Abd El-Magid said the RSF will not rest until all gangs are driven out of the Sahara Desert.
He underscored the RSF’s ongoing efforts to fight human trafficking, smuggling, and illegal migration.
The RSF Desert Shield Division is deployed along Sudan’s borders with Egypt and Libya.
