Rapid Support Forces works to achieve peaceful coexistence throughout Darfur

Rapid Support Forces (RSF) East Darfur Sector Brigadier Hussein Manzoul, the chairman of the reconciliation mechanism between the Rizaigat and Falata tribes, underscored that intensive efforts are under way to establish peace between these and other tribes.
He added that Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, RSF Commander, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has placed priority importance on tribal reconciliation and settling tribal disputes in Darfur.
Manzoul added that it is very clear after rounds of talks with tribal stakeholders that the tribes understand the need for peace and stability, and the reconciliation mechanism operates as an effective bridge, helping to spread awareness, consolidate peace, strengthen inter-tribal relations, and ensure peaceful coexistence throughout Darfur.
