Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has congratulated all Sudanese people at home and abroad, as well as the entire Islamic world, on Eid Fitr, while saluting the "remarkable and honorable soldiers who are fulfilling their duties around the country."
While addressing Rapid Support Forces (RSF) commissioned and non-commissioned officers at the Karrari Military Base on Eid Fitr, Dagalo called for renouncing regionalism, tribalism and racism, adhering to the words of the prophet, and ensuring that Sudan remains integrated and united.
Dagalo added that the Sudanese people must put an end to their internal divisions.
“We must stand together and put Sudan’s interests first and foremost,” he said.
Dagalo expressed his sincere remorse that Sudan has entered a period of economic difficulties, adding that “hardship is followed by ease.” He stressed that Sudan will succeed through the innovative capabilities and imagination of its youth, like many other countries.
The vice president reiterated his call for all Sudanese people – and, particularly, those living in the Darfur region – to renounce tribalism, think rationally and protect rule of law.
“Only through dialogue can we overcome crises,” Dagalo said.
The vice president also underscored his deep appreciation and support for Sudanese soldiers, who exert great efforts around the country to secure roads and protect property.
