Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has returned to Sudan after an official three-day visit to South Sudan, where he monitored the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
Dagalo was accompanied by Acting Defense Minister, General Yasin Ibrahim, Acting Oil Minister Mohammed Abd Allah Mahmood, and members of the technical committee for monitoring security arrangements under the peace agreement.
Dagalo was received at the airport by Transitional Sovereignty Council Secretary General, General Mohammed Al-Gali Ali Yousif and Undersecretary Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nadir Yousif.
During the visit, a Sudanese mediation effort chaired by Dagalo succeeded in gathering and reconciling all South Sudanese parties and agreeing on the supreme security leadership structure in South Sudan.
