Transitional Sovereignty Council VP meets with French envoy to Horn of Africa

Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has stressed that Sudan prioritizes reaching a national consensus through dialogue.
He added that all respective stakeholders need to have a seat at the table and called on the international community to continue supporting Sudan.
The statement was made during a meeting in the vice president’s office at the Presidential Palace on Monday with French Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Frederic Clavier.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop ties in all fields, as well as the political situation in Sudan.
Meanwhile, Clavier stated that France supports the UN and African Union initiative to facilitate the country’s democratic transition.
He underscored that Sudan’s stability is the lynchpin of stability in the entire region.
