Governor of South Kordofan: Rapid Support Forces plays highly important role in community

South Kordofan Governor “Kadogoli” Musa Mahmoud Jabir stated that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) plays a “highly important” role in supporting and developing the community in Sudan after showing its support for the people during the “December Revolution.”

The RSF played an instrumental – if not the most vital – role in ensuring its success, he said.

Jabir made the statement while greeting the RSF Central Media Convoy during their visit to Kordofan.

The convoy was received by South Kordofan Secretary General, Reconciliation Committee Chairman, RSF Commander for the Kordofan Sector, Brigadier Adam Abu-Shanab Hamadein and Kadogoli Sector Commander, Brigadier Abd El-Rahman Hilal.

The governor also lauded the RSF’s significant role in maintaining security, stability, tribal reconciliation and the greater social fabric in Sudan, noting that it has brought immense value to the state security committee since joining it in 2020.

Jabir added that the RSF has helped spread security all throughout eastern Sudan, including Rashad, Abasia, Abu-Karshola and Abu-Jibaiha, while serving as a powerful force in supporting and facilitating tribal reconciliation in the state.
