Chairman of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Medical Department, Dr. Suliman Abd El-Gabar has announced an ongoing multipronged project to fight drug use in Sudanese society.
Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo is an outspoken critic of narcotics and the detrimental role that they play in families and society.
In a press statement, Al-Gabar said the RSF will continue to track and analyze this issue to safeguard the entire community in Sudan, while expressing the RSF’s readiness to help rehabilitate addiction treatment and health centers together with companies and NGOs.
Meanwhile, he emphasized that the RSF is working diligently to provide the population with much-needed medical support. So far, more than 8,000 citizens have received medicine as part of a partnership between the RSF and Al-Bisir Charity Institution, Al-Gabar said.
