The Rapid Support Forces categorically deny the circulated allegations of forced recruitment, human trafficking, or the recruitment of foreign fighters to fight in its ranks, as claims attributed to a retired Chadian army general named Mohamed Nour Abdel Karim, conveyed.

We affirm that such claims are completely unfounded and lack any credible evidence. Our forces emphasize that they have no need for fighters and do not resort to forced recruitment or the use of mercenaries, as they possess ample manpower; fellow countrymen who have voluntarily joined the RSF ranks in an effort to defend their just causes. Furthermore, resorting to the recruitment of foreign mercenaries is a reprehensible as well as morally and legally unacceptable practice, and it bears no relation to the approach adopted by our forces.

We are fully cognizant of the fact that such attempts to level accusations against our forces is part of a systematic disinformation campaign, aiming to divert attention from documented practices committed by Al-Burhan's group and the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group, whilst in reality, they have consistently recruited foreign mercenaries from known countries and deployed them in the conflict, in flagrant violation of International Humanitarian Law and the values of national Sovereignty.

Our forces call on the media to exercise accuracy and professionalism, and to refrain from being swayed by conflicting narratives used to fuel the media war.

We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to protecting civilians and respecting International Humanitarian Law, and our absolute rejection of any practices that violate human dignity or render the people into no more than fuel for wars.
