RSF overpowers the Islamic Movement's Army force in Um Seyala and seizes a huge amount of equipment

On Monday, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has achieved a decisive victory over the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) operating under the terrorist Islamic Movement and the mercenaries of the movements in the Um Sayala area of North Kordofan state, eliminating the entire mobile and pursued the fleeing remnants all the wat to the borders of the Al-Alaqa area in the White Nile.

The courageous RSF soldiers fought a decisive battle that left the enemy suffering heavy losses of more than 470 fighters, seizing over 60 combat vehicles fully equipped with artillery and ammunition, destroying more than 30 additional vehicles, and crushed any remaining ambitions of the remnants to control the area.

Our forces remain on vigilant and alert and stand ready to confront any movements of the SAF which operates under the Islamic Movement and its mercenary allies.

We reaffirm the determination of our forces to advance steadily until complete liberation, the overthrow and dismantling of the “terrorist gang”, upholding of justice, and move forward in building a new Sudan based on the principles of freedom, justice, and equality.
