RSF reaffirms its dedication to aiding the delivery of relief supplies

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) reaffirms its dedication to aiding the delivery of relief supplies and subsidies to those in need across both urban and rural areas under our protection. We are steadfast in our commitment to cooperation on humanitarian issues and actively seek to engage in constructive dialogue to optimize the distribution of relief to citizens.

We would like to clarify that there are no barriers hindering the entry of humanitarian organizations, as per previously agreed upon terms for relief distribution and deployment. We remain dedicated to these agreements, ensuring the protection and facilitation of distribution efforts. Our forces are prepared to meet the necessary requirements to support these efforts.

Furthermore, the RSF Command has taken proactive steps by issuing stringent field directives to our commanders and troops. This ensures the fulfilment of our commitments, aiding the effective delivery of necessary relief materials and subsidies to citizens. We also continue to caution against attempts by the opposing forces — the hijacked Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) leadership and its extremist allied militias linked to the former regime — to use humanitarian operations as a means to withhold aid from citizens in areas beyond their control.

The RSF reiterates its readiness to sign any agreements or understandings that aim to protect the lives of citizens, drawing from our moral obligations to our people and adherence to international charters and treaties governing humanitarian efforts. We urge the international community and organizations to expedite the provision of humanitarian assistance to the hundreds of thousands in dire need.
