The RSF liberates "Girgira" from the Muslim Brotherhood militias in North Darfur

As part of operations to establish security, ensure protection, and pursue pockets of terrorist mercenaries, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have succeeded in taking control of the Girgira area in North Darfur State, expelling remnants of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) that operates under the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood and mercenary movements following swift battles.

The enemy forces suffered heavy losses in both lives and equipment, amounting to hundreds of fatalities, after our forces taught them lessons in steadfastness and courage that add to their record of battlefield achievements. Our forces have established full control over the area and seized dozens of vehicles, as well as large quantities of weapons, ammunition, and artillery.

Our forces have also deployed military positions around the area, a step that enhances deployment and secures vital sites, paving the way for advances toward new objectives. Our forces affirm that they will remain at the highest level of readiness to deliver decisive responses and to clear areas of remaining terrorist pockets.
