RSF announces the complete liberation of El-Fasher and the commencement of securing the city

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continues to launch combing operations on a large-scale that encompassed the city of El-Fasher, aiming to eliminate the last of the terrorists and mercenaries' strongholds, as the latter attempt to flee the city. Furthermore, our forces deployed military teams, tasked with protecting civilians and securing the streets as well as public places.
Specialized teams from our forces promptly initiated the process of removing mines and clearing the city of war remnants, in an effort to gradually restore the sense of normalcy to the city, and in preparation for the deployment of Federal Police Forces to assume security duties after the city is fully secured, for, naturally, Markets, Hospitals, in addition to all essential service facilities will then reopen.
We reaffirm our utmost commitment to protecting civilians inside El-Fasher following its liberation from the control of the terrorist Islamic Movement's Army and its mercenary militias. In addition, we, in the Rapid Support Forces, reiterate our commitment to International Laws and Conventions, and to implementing the leadership's directives to treat prisoners of war (POWs) with respect in accordance with the International Humanitarian Law, the Geneva Conventions, and the standing orders issued by the leadership, which are based on the principle of respecting human rights, protecting civilians, and treating POWs with dignity.
We declare to the public that the liberation of El-Fasher represents a milestone in the Sudanese people's struggle against the regime of oppression and terrorism pursued by the extremist Islamic Movement for a period of time that exceeds three decades. Hence, the liberation of El-Fasher will serve to hasten the inevitable end of the era of injustice and corruption, uprooting it once and for all.
