Earlier today, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) delivered a decisive and historic blow to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), its allied militias linked to the terrorist Islamic Movement, and their mercenary bretheren in the Um Al-Qura area of Gezira State. In a meticulously planned and bold operation, the RSF not only liberated the region but also inflicted a crushing defeat on the enemy, disrupting their control and reinforcing the RSF’s strategic dominance in Sudan.

During this remarkable operation, the RSF captured 40 fully equipped combat vehicles, a tank, and an extensive quantity of artillery and ammunition. In addition, two enemy tanks were destroyed, and more than 270 enemy combatants were neutralized, severely weakening the capacity of the terrorist forces to sustain their aggression.

This victory is not merely a tactical win — it is a defining moment in Sudan's struggle for freedom. The liberation of Um Al-Qura and the broader Gezira State marks a pivotal step in dismantling the terrorist Islamic Movement — a ruthless network of extremists that has wreaked havoc across Sudan, perpetuating violence and division in service of the former regime's destructive ideology.

The RSF stands unwavering in its commitment to liberating Sudan from the former regime and its chains of oppression and terror. This operation signals our relentless resolve to end the cycle of violence once and for all. The forces of tyranny, whether in the form of corrupt militias or terror-driven ideologies, will be crushed. We are determined to dismantle the remnants of the former regime and eradicate every vestige of its toxic legacy.

The RSF fights for a Sudan where justice, equality, and peace are not ideals but realities for all Sudanese people. We will continue to press forward until every corner of Sudan is liberated and a new, inclusive, and prosperous era emerges.
