New field victories by liberating Barno in South Kordofan

Today, Friday, the Founding Forces (TASIS) have achieved significant field victories, successfully liberating "Barno" area of the Eastern Rural locality in South Kordofan State. This victory comes after fierce battles in which the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) that operates under the terrorist  Muslim Brotherhood group mobilized its forces, supported by armored vehicles and artillery, and initiated an attack on our nearby positions, but, the heroes of our forces were fully prepared, confronting the attack and inflicting a crushing defeat on the enemy.

The enemy forces suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment after our forces taught them lessons in steadfastness and courage, adding another chapter to their record of field heroism. Our forces have now taken full control of the area, after penetrating into central Barno in the early hours of Friday morning and established military checkpoints in its surroundings, a step that strengthens deployment and secures vital sites.

Our forces affirm their full commitment to protect civilians, facilitate humanitarian access for those in need, and contribute effectively to the provision of essential services.
