The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) humanitarian convoy dispatched to North Darfur in cooperation with the Reconciliation and Development Centre to North Darfur in its way to South Darfur State.
The convoy was received by Brig. Gamal Juma’a, the RSF Spokesperson and the head of the guidance and services directorate.
Juma’a affirmed in press statements at the time of the arrival of the convoy in El-Fashir that the convoy targets more than 15 thousand families in Branga, Kailik and Shataya in South Darfur State. The convoy includes health and medical equipment besides shelters and foodstuff..
He pointed out that the RSF usually provide the humanitarian assistance to all areas that were subject to natural disasters and conflicts in all parts of Sudan in the framework of its national and humanitarian responsibilities to contribute in the return of the citizens to their home villages.
He pointed out that the RSF contributed in bringing about control and stability besides helping the citizens to return to their home villages, opening the markets and allow people practice their normal activities.
