H.E. President of the Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan
Honorable Chiefs of the Military Units
Greetings
Let me firs salute our brave soldiers, who managed to abort all the attempts of the stalkers who seek day and night to create sedition and intrigue to destabilize our patient and struggling people.
Salute to all our regular forces deployed in all parts of Sudan in order to protect our people and our land.
Greetings to our honorable citizens who have endured the suffering and hardships of life while dreaming of an advanced, prosperous, secure and stable homeland.
We address you today while Sudan is living in a critical stage in its history after the change that we wanted to be better than what we are witnessing now.
You all followed the foiled coup attempt that took place yesterday, which the regular forces were able, thanks to God, to thwart and arrest the mastermind group without any losses, and it is not the first attempt, as we have repelled many attempts throughout the life of the transitional period.
The citizen have the right to ask about the reasons for these repeated coups. We say it clearly and explicitly. The reason is the politicians who gave the opportunity for coups to take place because they neglected the citizen, his livelihood and his basic services and were preoccupied with the struggle over chairs and the division of positions, which created a state of dissatisfaction among the citizens.
The poor citizen suffers daily in order to provide food, medicine, bread, clean drinking water, and transportation to no avail. Some citizens migrated to other countries, and some of them were forced by life circumstances to sell their properties, hoping that tomorrow might be better.
Some even sold a gas tube in order to provide the necessities of life. tomorrow will be better.
