JPA Included Clear Items to Deal with the War Roots and Causes, Says RSF Commander in Chief Representative

Representative of the RSF Commander in Chief, Maj. Gen. Khalid Nour Al-Daeim said that Juba Peace Agreement (JPA) has included clear items in dealing with the roots of the war and its causes to prevent the return to square one of war.

He pointed out that the signature of JPA is not enough to return to the pre-war stage, stressing on consolidation of sectors of the society to build a sustainable peace.

He added, while addressing the concluding session of peace-building workshop organized by African Institute of Governance and Peace of the University of Khartoum held last Wednesday, that peace building needs more efforts, pointing out to the disastrous impacts of the war which require the establishment of an integrated project that considers the political, economic ans social requirements.

He announced the RSF adaption to all the programmes and initiatives of media to play its role in a professional manner, calling on the media outlets to play its role neutrally.
