FVP Reviews Gezira Scheme Situations, Donates 10 Vehicles for the Agricultural Season Preparations

First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1shas t Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo has the met,  in his office at the Republican Palace, the governor of Gezira Scheme, Dr. Mohammed Marzouq, who briefed the FVP on  the situations in Gezira Scheme and the problems facing it especially that related to main infrastructure and irrigation system.

 

The FVP affirmed the government’s support to Gezira Scheme to enable it return as one of the national economy pillars.

Governor of Fezira Scheme, Dr. Mohammed Marzouq said in press statements after that meeting that he enlightened the FVP on the deterioration of the projects especially its main infrastructure and irrigation system.

Dr. Marzouq expressed appreciation to the FVP for his support to the scheme represented by 10 vehicles to prepare for the upcoming agricultural season.
