Citizens of East Darfur State expressed appreciation to the RSF medical battalion which arrived in Al-Deain Teaching Hospital following the departure of 45 physicians because they were attacked by some citizens.
The general surgery specialist , Dr. Faisal Ali Ahmed Idris said that when the physicians left we were in a critical situation, but two of the RSF medical directorate namely Dr. Ali Mahmoud and Dr. Musaab put themselves under our disposal to cover the shortage.
One of the citizens said that the departure of the physicians came within complicated health conditions , lauding the RSF step which dispatched several physicians a matter that contributed in the stability of health situations in the hospital, pointing out to the necessity of providing security guards from the army, RSF and police to prevent the violations against the medical cadres.
For his part, the medical director of Al-Deain Teaching Hospital, Dr. Ali Mahmoud said that according to the directives of the Deputy RSF Commander in Chief, Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Hamdan Daglo, a medical battalion was dispatched to the hospital to fill the gap of shortages in the medical cadres, pointing out that the citizens expressed their need to the continuation of the RSF medical cadres.
He urged other medical institutions to follow suit the model of the RSF in providing outstanding services to the citizens of East Darfur to improve the health conditions.
