First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has received in his office a delegation representing the local administration, Freedom and Change Forces, and resistance committees led by Chieftain Siddiq Wada’a.
The meeting discussed the construction of water plant in Wada’a area in North Darfur State.
Representative of the local administration, Ahmed Abdallah Abakar said that the delegation discussed with the FVP the development, services and security axes, calling for deploying more ESF troops in the area to safeguard the peace and maintaining the agricultural season.
Abakar added that the FVP directed resolving the issue of the local administration and opening Wada’a court.
FFC representative, Al-Kheir Abdul Gadir said that the FVP pledged to sponsor the implementation of Wada’a water plant, describing the project as huge, adding that the previous successive government failed to implement it.
He added that they, on behalf of Darfur people and marginalized area support Juba Peace Agreement to bring an end to war and reconstruct what the was damaged during the war.
