FVP Chairs Peace Agreement Implementation High National Committee Meeting

First Vice President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has chaired today the third meeting of the Peace Agreement Implementation High National Committee with all its membership in the presence of Prime Minister, Dr. Abdallah Hamdok.
The spokesperson of the committee, Nour Al-Daim Mohammed Ahmed Taha said in press statements that the meeting discussed the process of implementing the peace agreement and the obstacles therein.
He added that the meeting emphasized the necessity of forming the joint force as soon as possible, hailing the parties that handed its lists, pointing out that the meeting directed the expatiation of settling the financial dues to implement the security arrangements.
Nour Al-daim announced the formation of several special  sub-committees  to follow up the implementation of the peace agreement in all the paths.
He pointed out that the meeting extended congratulations to Minni Arko Minnawi for his appointment as Governor of Greater Darfur, wishing him all the success in boosting stability in the region.
