RSF Commander in Al-Genaina Meets Peace Shield Troops Chief

Commander of the RSF – Al-Genaina Sector – Brig. Idris Hassan Ibrahim, met the Commander of the Peace Shield Troops in Darfur states, Brig. Al-Nour Ahmed Adam (Al-Goba) in the presence of Deputy Commander of the sector and number of officers.
The meeting discussed several issues of joint concern especially the implementation of the peace agreement besides the protection of the civilians to consolidate the security and stability.
Brig Idris affirmed the continuation of his troops in protecting the civilians besides promoting the peace process, adding that the First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo brought the peace and they will protect it in Darfur, expressing appreciation to the visit of the Peace Shield Commander to West Darfur.
For his part, Brig. Al-Nour Al-Goba  said in press statements to the electronic Information that his forces are keen to preserve security and stability, adding that his visit comes within his inspection tours to the Peace Shield Forces in Darfur states to promote the peace process, expressing hope that the present and future states witness an unprecedented  security  which will reflect positively on the livelihood of the citizens.
