Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) – Central Darfur Sector -, Brig. Ali Yagoub affirmed the preparedness of the RSF and other regular forces to protect the agricultural season in central Darfur State. Yagoub said in press statement today, Saturday, that the joint forces (Army, RSF and Police) set the required arrangements to protect the agricultural season in all the locality of the State, pointing out that the stability in the state encouraged big numbers of farmers to return to the agricultural areas to settle in it. Meanwhile, he praised the civilized way in which West Jebel Marra (Nirtiti) called for their deserved rights on top of which is the security which the security forces managed to preserve in few hours besides providing the necessary requirements such as electricity, health services, agricultural machineries and others which the RSF 2nd Commander-in-Chief, Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Hamdan donated and were handed to the locality authorities in the presence of the organizing committee of the sit-in. Brig. Yagoub reiterated the keenness of the RSF and other regular forces to preserve the security and safety of the people and their properties as directed by the 1st Vice President and the Sovereign Council, Commander-in-Chief of the RSF, 1st. Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo.
