FVP Meets Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea

First Vice President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, received at his office in the Republican Palace the Mr. Julian Riley in the presence of the UK Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan.
Daglo briefed the new assigned UK Charge d’affaires on the implementation of the peace agreement and the formation of the new transitional government which is participated by the armed struggle movements.
Daglo emphasized to the UK official the importance of building partnerships with Sudan in training and capacity-building.
The meeting also discussed the situations in the bordering zones besides the social peace-building, along with the illegal migration and human trafficking in consideration with Sudan’s role in curbing the phenomenon.
For his part, the UK envoy said that his meeting with the First Vice President was fruitful  anc constructive as it discussed  boosting the relations between the UK and Sudan.
