First Vice President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo received in his office, this evening, the visiting Italian medical delegation.
The head of the delegation, Dr. Kamal Ghuraibi said in press statements that the visit comes within the framework of boosting the relations between Sudan and Italy, adding that the meeting discussed the means of pushing forward the cooperation between the two countries on health issues.
Ghrauibi revelaed the formation of a joint team from both sides to set a roadmap for the cooperation, affirming the readiness of the Italian group to support Sudan and providing Sudan with the medical and laboratories experiences.
He pointed out that the visiting medical delegation met with the federal minister of health and visited the major hospitals in Khartoum state.
It is worth noting that the medical group represents 22 hospitals, 3 universities and includes 5 thousand physicians, 8 thousand nurses to provides health services to about 5.7 million patients all over the world.
