FVP Meets AU Envoy, Mohammed Ould Lebatt

First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo received today the African Union Envoy, Ambassador Mohamemd Ould Lebatt.
The meeting discussed the regional developments in the light of the borders’ tensions between Susan and Ethiopia.
The FVP lauded the AU role towards Sudan, especially in narrowing the gaps of views among the components of the transitional period which was crowned by the signature of the Constitutional Document, affirming that Sudan is aspiring for the support of the AU institutions during the transitional period especially after the signature of the peace agreement.
On his part, the AU Envoy conveyed a  message from the Chief of the AU Commission, Mousa Faki on the issues of joint concern between Sudan and the AU, affirming the readiness of the AU to provide support to Sudan to overcome t transitional period peacefully.
