FVP Meets President of Qatari Shura Council

First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has met today in Doha, the capital city of Qatar State, H.E. Ahmed Bin Abdallah Bin Zayed Al-Mahmoud, the President of the Qatari Shura Council, in the presence of the Sudanese Foreign Minister, Omer Qamar Addeen and the Director of the Sudanese General Intelligence Service, 1st Lt. Gen. Jamal Abdulmageed.
The FVP expressed appreciation to the Emir, government  and  people of Qatar State for their supportive stances towards the Sudanese people in all aspects.
He added that the Sudanese will never forget the efforts of  H.E. Ahmed Bin Abdallah Bin Zayed in achieving peace and development in Darfur which were crowned by the signature of Doha Peace Agreement for Darfur in July 2011.
For his part, the President of the Qatari Shura Council welcomed the visit of the 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, expressing hope for more development in the relations  between the two sisterly countries.
He meeting also reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, besides exchanging the views over several issues of joint interest.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy President of the Qatari Shura Council, H.E. Mohammed Bin Abdallah Al-Silaiti and the Qatari Ambassador to Sudan, H.E. Abdulrahman Bin Ali Al-Kobaisi.
