Red Sea State Launches National Polio Vaccination Campaign with RSF Partnership

Health Ministry in Red Sea State has launched the national polio vaccination campaign under the slogan (Towards a nation free of polio) during the period 28th November up to 1st December.
According to the Secretary General of Red Sea State Government,  Majdi Ibrahim, the campaign targets all the localities of the state, affirming the support of the government to the campaign and providing all the facilities that make the campaign a success especially the teams participating in it.
For her part, Health Sector General Manager, Dr. Zahfran Al-Zaki revealed the gravity of the virus to the kids who did not take the  vaccine , lauding that role of the partners and the support provided by the Federal Ministry of health, the government of Red Sea State, the Rapid Support Forces, humanitarian organizations, executive authorities and the localities of the State.
She urged the citizens and media outlets to cooperate with the teams to make the campaign a success.
For his part,  Lt. Col. Osama Khalid of the Rapid Support Forces, said that the participation of the RSF  comes within its efforts to support the people of Red Sea State, adding that the national polio vaccination campaign  is one of the national projects and the participation of the RSF in it is a national obligation.
