Daglo: Improvement of Economy Subject to Curbing Corruption

First Vice President (FVP) of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo said that corruption is the main reason for the collapse of economy, calling for curbing it to allow for the development of Sudan.
“The collapse of our economy is because of our policies”  Daglo added.
He stressed on the necessity of implementing the peace agreement in Sudan and South Sudan besides working out a plan for economic integration between the two countries.
FVP considered, while addressing the dinner he organized to honour South Sudan delegation (the political security committee) which includes ministers and military experts (Tuesday), the visit  South Sudan delegation a strategic work and a start of economic cooperation especially in harbours and free zones.
He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries in terms of production to create conducive environment for the benefit of the two countries, affirming the desire of Sudan to support  and implement South Sudan peace agreement, pointing out to the importance of completing Sudan peace agreement, considering the stability of Khartoum and Juba is an approach for economic integration for the benefit of the two countries.
