FVP Meets Abache Higher Committee of Bordering Tribes Forum

First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo received in his office at the Republican Palace the members of Abache Higher Committee of Bordering Tribes Forum.
Deputy Chief of the committee, Dr. Hassan Bargo said in press statements that the meeting discussed the ongoing arrangements for holding Abachi Forum of Bordering Tribes under the chairmanship of RSF Deputy Commander in Chief, Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Daglo who is the president of the Higher Committee, adding that the committee includes 45 members of Darfur elites, affirming that the Forum aims at availing conducive environment for the upcoming peace in coordination with the local administrations, besides mending the social fabric, boosting the peace process, and promoting the efforts of achieving the comprehensive peace led by the government in Juba Forum.
He pointed out that the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council has directed expanding the membership of the sub-committees that are arranging for the forum to include representatives from the armed struggle movements, adding that the committee was formed last January and exerted great efforts to make the forum a success, affirming that the forum will be held next November in Abachi city in Chad State.
He disclosed that the committee  was formed from all Darfur sectors including representatives from the armed struggle movements, adding that the Higher Committee has prepare all the papers to be discussed in the forum in coordination with the Chadian side.
