Al-Kamleen Locality in Gezira State has received the Rapid Support Forces convoy dispatched to support the floods-affected people.
The RSF started providing the assistance to Buri, Al-Bagair, Al-Jadeed and Al-Thawra areas. The assistance included shelter materials, mosquito nets, sheets, and foodstuff besides launching sprinkling spray in the stagnant ponds to control the disease vectors.
The Commander of the RSF Convoy, Lt. Colonel Adam Mohamed Saleh affirmed the support of the RSF to the government of Gezira State in terms of providing the required assistance to the affected people.
The Executive Duirector of Al-Kamleen Locality, Mohamed Al-Badawi Abu=Guroon expressed appreciation to the RSF for its support to the floods-affected people in the State, assuring the reflux of the floods, adding that the RSF convoy covered the need of the locality through its qualitative assistance, pointing out that thousands of families were affected by the floods,
It is worth noting that the convoy was dispatched upon the directives of the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of the RSF, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo who directed providing assistance to the floods-affected states.
