Rapid Support Forces second commander takes part in ceremony to end hostilities in Blue Nile State

Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Second Commander, General Abdul-Rahim Hamdan Dagalo has participated in the reconciliation ceremony to cease hostilities in Blue Nile State. 

While speaking at the event, Abdul-Rahim stressed that Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo is working intensely to encourage reconciliation and peace efforts throughout Sudan. 

He added that Blue Nile State will witness the signing of a reconciliation agreement in the upcoming days, and added that it will be responsibility of the entire population to ensure that it is implemented to promote peace and stability. 

Abdul-Rahim also stressed the importance of implementing rule of law across the country, while ordering patrols of all local villages to help introduce the agreement to the entirety of the population.
