FVP Launches RSF Campaign to Floods-affected People

Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Commander in Chief of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has launched the RSF campaign to support the  floods-affected people in each of Khartoum, Gezira, Sennar, Red Sea, Kassala, River Nile, Northern and East Darfur States.
The campaign includes shelter materials, commodities, foodstuff,  health care and environmental tools.
Daglo stated, while addressing the launching ceremony at the RSF head office in Khartoum today (Saturday), that the convoy represents a contribution from the RSF to provide support to the floods-affected people in the affected states according to the need of each, affirming that it is the duty of the RSF towards the citizens.
Daglo disclosed that the directives of the RSF command are to stand with the people in any area in Sudan, adding that they are the servants of the people according to their national duty and the oath of allegiance of the military staff.
He stressed on the necessity of carrying out environment campaigns through intensifying the sprinkling spray process to kill the diseases transformers, calling on all citizens to cooperate to overcome the disasters resulted from the floods and heavy rains.
Daglo urged all the media outlets to visit the floods-affected remote areas to realize the difficulties which the people there are facing, affirming the keenness of the RSF to provide all possible support to all people. 
The 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council wished quick recovery to the people injured during the floods, asking Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the floods’ martyrs in eternal peace.
