1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council Receives UNAMID Chief

First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1^st Lt. Gen Mohammed Hamdan Daglo received in his office, the UNAMID Chief in Sudan Mr. Jiryama Mamapolo in the presence of the Director of the WFP in Sudan Mr. Hamid Nuru and the UNDP resident coordinator Mrs. Goy Yob.

UNAMID Chief said in press statements that the meeting discussed several issues of joint concern between the UNAMID and the Sudanese government, affirming UNAMID solidarity with Sudan in the fight against COVID-19, pointing out that consultation between the UNAMID and the government will continue in the upcoming stage on those issues.
