Transitional Sovereignty Council VP performs Eid prayer in Zoroq

Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has performed the Eid prayer in Zoroq in North Darfur State.
In his speech at the Great Mosque, the vice president congratulated all Muslims on the holiday, particularly Sudanese inside and outside the country.
He urged them to hold in the highest esteem tolerance, redemption, and sacrifice, and to continue working to ensure peaceful coexistence between all the people of Sudan.
Dagalo also stressed the need to renounce hate speech, regionalism, and racism. “We are all African, Sudanese, and Muslims, who share the word, ’tawhid,’” he said.
Dagalo explained that his visit to the area was aimed at resolving chaos and tribal conflicts, aiding in the voluntary return of IDPs, and promoting rule of law.
He also praised the significant efforts achieved in the area.
Meanwhile, women’s representative Managim Mohammed asked the vice president to help the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department have more specialists on hand and train more midwifes, and to provide a vehicle to ensure the effective removal of waste from the facility.
She also praised Dagalo’s significant role in maintaining peace and stability in the area.
