Forbinga community praises peace efforts of Transitional Sovereignty Council VP

Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has met with dignitaries and tribes in Forbringa Locality in West Darfur State.

During the meetings, he praised the unity and cohesion in the local community and called on other areas to take similar steps to ensure peaceful coexistence.
In a press statement, Forbinga Locality Executive Director Mohammed Adam Ishaq said the vice president was briefed on security, social, and health issues, and thanked the Rapid Support Forces for its successful efforts to reconcile tribes throughout Darfur.
He added that Dagalo promised to provide electric transformers to the locality, pay one-month salary to Imams and Ma’mums, and secure the upcoming agricultural season.
