Transitional Sovereignty Council VP holds meeting with West Darfur Security Committee

Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has held an important meeting with the West Darfur Security Committee.
The meeting was attended by his fellow council members Al-Tahir Hagar and El-Hadi Idris, as well as federal security committees.
The meeting addressed the security situation t in Ginena, Moon Mount, Karink, Kalabs, and other areas in West Darfur State.
Meanwhile, West Darfur Governor Khamis Abd Allah Abaker stated that the meeting participants voiced their regret over the renewal of conflicts in the area, noting that several decisions have now been taken to maintain security and impose the authority of the state and rule of law.
He added that the joint forces will be deployed next week in Ginena to ensure peace and stability, and stressed the importance of finalizing security arrangements in the area.
