Rapid Support Forces resolve critical health problem in region: West Kordofan governor

West Kordofan Governor Khalid Mohammed Ahmed has praised the contribution of Transitional Sovereignty Council Vice President, Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Commander, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo to maintaining peace and stability in the state, while specifically referring to a humanitarian convoy that recently arrived to the region.
The convoy consisted of tanks of drinking water. The lack of drinking water has been a major issue facing West Kordofan in recent memory, the governor said.
Meanwhile, the governor stressed that the RSF plays a key role in ensuring stability and peaceful coexistence in Sudan, noting that: “Whenever there is a tribal conflict, or another issue, we ask them to come, and they respond quickly.”
“The RSF never says no when they are needed and wanted,” he said.
