In alignment with the joint declaration by our international partners and the Geneva negotiations mediation team, and in response to the urgent need for civilian protection and humanitarian aid, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) welcomes the critical access of aid to those suffering in Darfur and Kordofan through the Adre crossing.
The RSF has steadfastly supported the use of the Adre crossing, along with the airports in Nyala, El Geneina, and Zalingei, as essential channels for delivering humanitarian assistance. As the crisis deepens and the threat of famine intensifies, the arrival of relief trucks in Darfur today through the Adre crossing represents a crucial development — one that we fully endorse, facilitate, and safeguard.
The humanitarian catastrophe sparked by the conflict, driven by the terrorist Islamic Movement and its hostile elements within the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), has reached an unprecedented level. This dire situation demands immediate and coordinated international action to save lives.
We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to cooperating with all humanitarian organizations. Our forces will continue to take every necessary measure to fulfill the Sudanese people's aspirations for freedom, justice, and equality, and to lay a solid foundation for a just and secure future for Sudan.
